April 1995 is a piece created in honor of my Grandfather, Henry.
I recently discovered an old clip of a time when I was adding the bits of glass to the tree trunk.
Love you, Grandpa.

Glowing Tree will be shipped to its new home in Florida.
This is one of my favorite works so far. In part, because the paint seemingly flowed. The idea came quickly; followed by fast paced work. On occasion, self-doubt prevails with certain works...in this instance, my thoughts were clear.
Another reason this is one of my favorites is due to texture: the rough paper, the shiny glitter, the movement of the thick acrylic paint.
When I stand in front of the big, wide world, I am given many opportunities. I am humbled and grateful.
Thank you for taking time to follow along on my journey.
